OUR STORY

Health & wellness should be a collaborative process. Our clinic was created to offer a safe and welcoming space where clients and practitioners work as a team.

Drawing on more than a decade of multidisciplinary clinic experience on Vancouver Island, Rowan's founder saw that the best patient outcomes happen when practitioners actively collaborate in an evidence-informed manner—both with each other and with the client. Rowan Health & Wellness was built to bring that vision home.

Jeff Feltmate R.TCM.P.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Owner/Founder

Born and raised in Antigonish County, Jeff returned home to Nova Scotia following 17 years on Vancouver Island, where he studied and established his practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine. A Pacific Rim College Valedictorian who graduated with high honors from their rigorous four-year Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine program, he brings over a decade of clinical experience to his practice. Jeff is dedicated to bridging time-tested traditional modalities with contemporary, evidence-informed care to deliver thoughtful, person-centered support

Throughout his career, Jeff has worked extensively within collaborative, multidisciplinary clinics alongside a wide network of healthcare professionals—including Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Naturopathic Physicians, and Clinical Counsellors. This integrated background shapes his approach, focusing on cooperative, person-centered care that values each individual’s input in achieving their health goals.

While Jeff welcomes support for a broad range of health concerns, his primary area of clinical focus is addressing musculoskeletal and pain conditions. He maintains active professional standing with the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia (ATCMANS), the College of Complimentary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC), and the BC Association of TCM and Acupuncture Practitioners (ATCMA).
